But what happened to the pair once the Bungalow's doors slammed lock for the terminal time?

Kids were desperate to watch their weird and wacky antics, with games such as Pumpy Rumpy, Musical Splatues, What A Sweaty Flap and Form Dick Sick (or Make Dom Vom).

Dick and Dom never strayed far from controversy, with the latter getting into hot water with media watchdog Ofcom for wearing a T-shirt with the sexual slogan "Morning Wood" emblazoned on the front.

Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood became some of the most famous children's television presenters of their time on BBC's Dick & Dom In Da Bungalow.


They were the must-see act on Saturday mornings for kids and adults alike tuning in to giggle along while watching the dynamic duo shout "bogies" raucously in public spaces.


Fans would tune in religiously to watch their antics unfold each week, in games such as Pumpy Rumpy, Musical Splatues and Construct Dick Sick or Produce Dom Vom.


The pair – who are now 44 and 43 – are celebrating their 20th anniversary in showbiz.

Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood shot to stardom as double act Dick and Dom.


The presenters first teamed up to front the Broom Cupboard presentation links on CBBC in 1996. They are best famous for hosting the iconic children's entertainment show, Dick and Dom in da Bungalow.


The BAFTA award-winning programme ran for five seasons from 2002 - 2006 and featured games such as Creamy Muck Muck and Bogeys. The hosts never strayed too far controversy and once initiate themselves in hot moisture with Ofcom for wearing a t-shirt with "Morning Wood" printed on the front.

They were interviewed on Excellent Morning Britain earlier this year and claimed the show wouldn't make it on the air today. Dom said: "I reflect some of the content would be seen as maybe a bit edgy."
