Rudy gay all star appearances

Rudy Gay is one of the most underrated players in the league. Every year this guy does so much for the Memphis Grizzlies and never gets any recognition. Fellow teammates Marc Gasol and Zack Randolph get most of the praise. They get the All Star appearances, but not Rudy Gay.

He gets around 20 points a game, shoots the 3 point shot well and is a highflyer. Teams should be signing this guy to huge offer sheets every time his contract is almost up. I don’t get it. I honestly don’t grasp why he is viewed so shallow on the NBA totem poll.

The guy is a Human Highlight Reel, and yes I took Wilkins nickname, but it’s true. The man is an amazing dunker. Not a dunk champion, because the dunks he did weren’t flashy dunks. They were as Charles Barkley said “He dunks like that in a game and with people on him”.

The only knock to him, is that he was injured the year they hit the top ranked Spurs in the playoffs. Rudy didn’t play at all and they blew past the Spurs. So people consider they are excel without him.

I consider he should just go somewhere else. Might as adequately, you’re getting no love in Memphis. It doesn’t matter what he does, he will still won’t get the recognit

OAKLAND, California — Rudy Queer had amassed just seven career playoff games in 11 NBA seasons. His chances of returning to the postseason were bleak if he remained with the Sacramento Kings. And to make matters more challenging, Gay was recovering from a season-ending Achilles tendon injury.

While watching the opening day of the 2017 NBA playoffs at a sports bar adjacent his offseason home in South Florida, Gay daydreamed about a return to the postseason. Today, he is realizing what he envisioned as a starting forward for the San Antonio Spurs.

“I was in my boot and I was at a local sports bar around my house thinking about what I could be doing, how I could be healthy and how I could be in the playoffs the next year,” the 31-year-old Gay said. “I was down this time of year before because I wanted to play in the playoffs. Yeah, I was adorable down. But I was motivated. It was one of those downs where I was like, ‘I’m not going to enable this happen again.’ ”

Frustrated with the losing and rebuilding, Gay opted out of his contract with the Kings that would have paid $14 million during the 2017-18 season. The Kings have not been in the playoffs since 2006. The team also made it less attr

Great kid and superb player. Just was simply not transcendent in his time here.

The floor general for the Grit & Grind Grizzlies of the 2010s, Mike Conley is the all-time leading scorer for Memphis.

1. Mike Conley – 11,733 Points

Conley, drafted No. 4 out of Ohio State in 2007, developed into a smooth, ambidextrous aim guard with a world-class float game in Memphis. He became the starter almost instantly, then began building his reputation as a scorer.

Over 11 seasons in Memphis, Conley averaged 14.9 PPG, knocking down 38% of his three-pointers.

He cracked 20+ PPG in 2016-17 and 2018-19, taking the reigns from Zach Randolph as the lead scorer during the second half of his tenure in the city.

2. Marc Gasol – 11,684 Points

Acquired from the Los Angeles Lakers in a trade for his brother, Pau, Marc Gasol became the defensive foundation of the “Grit & Grind” Grizzlies, developing into a three-time All-Star.

He was also a skilled scorer with a mellow, refined touch around the rim. Originally a post player, Gasol developed a three-point shot as his career progressed. He knocked down five threes, for example, when putting up a career-high 42 points against the Toronto Raptors in Janu
